The Fureys in Concert

The Fureys are responsible for some of the most memorable and heartwarming music to ever capture the public imagination both here in Ireland and worldwide. Their folk based music has undoubtedly received standing ovations the biggest concert halls of the world and they credit their musical ability and admiration to their parents.

The Fureys have been entertaining large audiences worldwide for over 40 years now, crowds that have included former Australian Prime Minister John Howard, Former Irish President Mary McAleese and the late Pope John Paul while former English Prime Minister, Tony Blair has stated his favourite peace song of all time is the Fureys’ “Green Fields of France”. Recently Ireland President Michael D Higgins attended their concert in Dublin’s National Concert Hall.
