Women’s Mini Marathon in Ballina

The West of Ireland Women’s Mini Marathon returns to Ballina on Sunday, 3rd May 2026, bringing a vibrant atmosphere and thousands of participants to the town for a memorable May Bank Holiday.

A Celebration of Fitness & Community

Now in its 17th year, the Women’s Mini Marathon has become one of the largest women only events in the West of Ireland. This much loved annual event invites women of all ages and abilities to take part in a 10km run, jog or walk, celebrating fitness, community and achievement in the heart of Mayo.

The course begins in Ballina town centre at 12 noon, creating a lively and accessible route that showcases the best of the area while keeping participants supported every step of the way.
