Great National Hotel Ballina is conveniently located just 40 minutes from Knock Airport, 2 hours and 20 minutes from Shannon Airport and 2 hours and 50 minutes from Dublin Airport with all airports offering direct flights from a wide range of popular UK destinations including London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol Jersey, Glasgow, and many more.
There are a number of car hire companies located at Shannon and Dublin Airport, but we recommend that you book your car in advance. If you would prefer to bring your car with you to tour the West of Ireland and Wild Atlantic Way then there are a number of direct ferries from Holyhead, Liverpool and Douglas in Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port.

Belleek Woods is a great family friendly walk situated along the banks of the river Moy. It is one of the largest urban forests in Europe with 200 acres of woodlands and trees up to 300 years old. The tree-canopy walk has lots of natural forest pathways which are great for little adventures with the children.
