There are a number of car hire companies located at Shannon and Dublin Airport, but we recommend that you book your car in advance. If you would prefer to bring your car with you to tour the West of Ireland and Wild Atlantic Way then there are a number of direct ferries from Holyhead, Liverpool and Douglas in Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port.
